How Credits Work

inline AI runs on a monthly credit system. Every plan includes a set number of credits that refresh at the start of each billing cycle. Credits are deducted each time the AI processes a request on your behalf.

Credits are consumed only during active AI processing. Viewing completed results, browsing your files, or working in Excel or HWP without AI assistance does not cost any credits.

Plans and Monthly Credits

inline AI offers the following plan categories, each designed for different usage levels:

• Free: A starting credit balance included at no cost, enough to try inline AI on everyday tasks.
• Pro: Choose from multiple credit tiers to match your workload. Higher tiers include bonus credits. Pro also unlocks advanced AI models and multi-file editing for Excel and HWP.
• Team: A shared credit pool for organizations. Buy credits once and use them across your entire team for up to one year, with no per-seat fees or minimum headcount.
• Enterprise: A fully customized plan for large organizations, including SSO, SCIM, on-premise deployment, and dedicated support. Contact us for details.

What You Can Do

To give you a sense of scale, here are real tasks that each consume roughly 10 to 15% of the Free plan's monthly credits. You could comfortably complete several of these in a single month without running out of credits.

Analyze a Quarterly Sales Report

Open a spreadsheet with 500+ rows of quarterly sales data. inline AI reads the file, identifies top-performing products and regions, flags statistical outliers, and generates a formatted summary with key takeaways. Roughly 10 to 15% of the Free monthly credits.

Clean and Restructure a Dataset

Point inline AI at a messy CSV with inconsistent date formats, duplicate rows, and missing values. It scans the entire file, standardizes formats, deduplicates entries, fills or flags gaps, and exports a clean version ready for downstream use. Roughly 10 to 15% of the Free monthly credits.

Build a Budget Variance Report

Provide two spreadsheets: planned budget allocations and actual spending. inline AI merges the data, calculates variances by category, highlights over-budget line items, and produces a variance report you can share with stakeholders. Roughly 10 to 15% of the Free monthly credits.

Each of these tasks is well within 50% of the Free plan's monthly credits. In practice, most single-session workflows in inline AI, from data cleanup to financial analysis, consume only a small fraction of your credits.

How Credits Are Deducted

Every interaction with inline AI deducts credits from your monthly balance. An "interaction" covers a single request cycle: from the moment you send a message through the full agent response, including any tool calls the AI performs on your behalf.

The credit cost of each interaction depends on the complexity and length of the task. A quick formatting question costs far fewer credits than a multi-step analysis across several files.

Credit Reset Cycle

For monthly subscription plans (Free and Pro), your credits refresh at the start of each billing cycle. When a new cycle begins, your credit balance is restored to the full amount included in your plan. Unused credits do not carry over to the next cycle.

Team plans provide a one-time shared credit pool valid for up to one year, with no monthly reset. Enterprise credits follow the terms of your custom contract.

Running Out of Credits

When your credits reach zero, new AI requests will be paused until your next reset or until additional credits are added. You'll receive a notification as your credits run low so there are no surprises.

To continue using AI features before your next cycle, you can upgrade to a higher credit tier or switch to a higher-tier plan at any time.

Plan Changes

When you upgrade your plan or select a higher credit tier, the new allocation takes effect immediately. Your remaining credits are recalculated proportionally against the new, larger allocation.
